Your Revenue Potential with our Cost Per Sample Program

By | Blog | No Comments

While state-mandated shelter-in-place or social distancing orders are crucial in protecting citizens and not overwhelming hospitals, many physicians’ offices and labs have had to adjust hours and/or office visit protocols. This of course has affected revenue streams for many. Alternative BioMedical Solutions has continued to service our clients throughout this crisis.

If you have lost revenue due to shut-downs or limiting operations, we have a program that could help you in regaining income. As restrictions ease-up and facilities begin to open over the next few weeks, it’s possible you’ll be able to jump-start business more easily with our Cost-Per-Sample Program.

ABS’s Cost Per Sample (CPS) program is a turnkey laboratory management solution that provides you with the ability to set up your laboratory in-house without having previous laboratory experience.

Performing a urine drug test on the point of care cups typically reimburses somewhere between $15-$20 per specimen. If you perform this on an instrument, the reimbursement jumps to something closer to $40-$60/specimen. It can be a strong ancillary revenue for your practice and with little change to your current process.

If you’re currently billing for code 80305, this program is for you.
